Frequently Asked Questions
How much are the pieces cost?
My pieces take many hours to make and each one is unique and original. I want my time, effort, and skills to reflect fairly on the price of my art. Most of the pottery range between $260 to $400+ USD. Some exclusive and more complicated design or larger in size range between $400-$1,000 USD.
I'm a small batch artist. I always comes up with new and original designs every month. Since I hand-throw, hand-sculpt and hand-paint each one individually, I can only make roughly 15 - 18 pieces per month.
How can I purchase?
I announce the date and exact time for shop restock (also called 'shop update' 'shop drop') on my website and on instagram bio. The pieces that will be for sale will go live exactly on such date and time. I only accept Paypal as a payment gateway at the moment. If you'd like to pay with a credit card, you'll have to go through Paypal first. It will then ask if you'd like pay with your credit card.
I do not hold or reserve items. I also don't do wholesale.
Why is your site empty?
When the website is empty and no product visible, it means all the works from previous shop update are all sold. It also means that I'm making new ones for the next restock.
When will you restock?
I restock within 4-6 weeks. Please check my instagram bio or website to see the date and time of the shop restock. Most of the time, I would know when I can restock only 2-4 days before the actual date of the restock. Be sure to see my progress that I regularly share on my instagram stories.
How functional are your pieces?
I pay so much time, energy, and effort to make sure that every piece is safe enough to use. It makes me incredibly happy when I know that my customers use the mugs I created. They are considered as functional art pieces. They are unique and irregular ceramic pieces, so, handling with extra care is on your part. Be careful of accidents and thermal shock (where the sudden temperature change from hot to cold or vice versa, causing the piece to crack) Do not put it on a hot stove, change from very hot drink to ice cold. Avoid soaking in the sink or leave it outdoor.
They are NOT microwave safe or dishwasher safe. Avoid using harsh chemical or soaking it in the sink.
All items in the shop are made of ceramic clay and glazed with food-safe, lead-free material.
Can I pre-order? Can you re-create the previous design that you sold-out previously?
I sometimes re-create previous designs when I receive several requests for it or if I feel like remaking it. When I open for "Pre-Order" it means that you'll pre-pay for the piece and wait for me to create it. The piece will be very similar in design as the sold-out piece. However, colors may be different due to glaze effect. Every piece is unique and firing at 1222c can produce different glaze effect. I will not revise any minor details that you may request because every element on such design was already thought-out and measured to balance the whole look. One small change can cause me extra time and effort.
Why similar works are priced differently?
Each design is priced differently, even though the final results do not look more complicated than the other. In reality, each version has its own challenges and requires different techniques.

Please note that I'm not responsible for and I do not provide refunds for delayed/lost shipments since it's beyond my control.
Do you accept custom orders? How do I order a custom work?
While I appreciate every interest and support for my art, I have to reduce the amount of work I take on each year and may decline future requests. As much as I love to create meaningful and sentimental heirloom pieces or custom pet pieces, it takes me away from creating new designs.
Everything here is hand-sculpt and hand-painted, starting from scratch. Ceramic work can be really unpredictable and unforgiving. My work is packed with a lot of small details. Small things can go wrong, like the colors may change, or the piece is shrunk or warp after firing, or worse, it may crack. A lot is out of human control as no one can go inside the kiln and fix it while firing. THe glaze also produces different effect every time so no piece is alike. This is the risk of working with functional ceramics. So, unfortunately, some custom projects in the past had given me unintended stress when flaws occurred.
I also tend to take my time when working on a piece. I'm not very keen on taking on a project with highly specific details and strict deadlines. That gives me anxiety and doubts. I opt to work with customers who truly trust me as an artist, value and understand the nature of handmade works rather than working on an inflexible project with a strong vision. If I gauge that your request is less complicated and less risky then I may accept your project.
Please also note that I only work on my designs and styles. I don't produce the works and designs or similar designs that belong other artists. I respect the artistic creation of other artist and I expect the same kind of respect from them too. I value the originality of my work more than anything. Asking me to reproduce other artists' design or vice versa is unacceptable for me.
Here's how it works;
We'll discuss the details before I can confirm and accept your project. Once the brief is agreed and the process has begun, there is no room for changes. Once clay is sculpted and drying, making adjustments can cause cracking. A normal custom order takes 4+ months or longer than the agreed deadline if any unexpected flaws come up. This is also because I have to manage my monthly shop update and custom projects will have to fit my firing schedule. A full payment is made before I start the process. The final result of the piece may come with possible minor imperfections. However, each piece will be functional as intended. Customers acknowledge the handling instructions and accept the final result of the work regardless of any visible imperfections. A custom order for pottery usually ranges from $215 - $350+ USD for 1 animal (like bear / fox / bunny / wolf, etc.) A sculpted pet pottery for 1 pet starting price at $300 USD, price increases depending on the complexity and details. There will be no refund or return once the work has started.
*Most of the time, I don't know when I can open for custom orders. This can take several months. Please check on my instagram bio and website if and when I'm able to accept custom projects.
What is your return policies?
All sales are final. Due to the nature of the product, there are no returns, refund or exchanges for all items or services once purchased. For Items that are handcrafted, customers acknowledge and accept possible imperfection of the product that may occur during its creation process. We are not responsible for the lost or damaged or stolen package once it’s has been shipped as it is beyond my control.
This is due to the manual labor that went into the creation of the piece and preparation for shipping is intensive. Each piece is inspected to ensure it's functional before shipping out. I do my best to provide excessive wrapping to protect every piece for shipping. I'm very confident of the level of protection I provide for each piece before they travel. Over 400+ pieces shipped internationally, we have never once experienced a single damage of the item during shipping.
Also, the actual shipping cost for international registered mail is double the cost than what you pay when you are at the checkout. I'm willing to absorb half of this shipping cost without explicitly informing you in order to unload some of the burden from you as customer so that you do not have to pay full price of shipping cost. Customers must acknowledge and accept the uniqueness and possible imperfections that may developed at the final result of the work.
